The Process

1. say hello

Reach out and share the story you’re hoping to tell. We’ll shape it into a session that feels like you and sets the tone for something meaningful.

2. Set The Scene

When you’re ready to book, I’ll send your contract and invoice. Pay the session fee to secure your date, then a short questionnaire will land in your inbox so I can get to know you. We’ll also lock in a Creative Consult FaceTime to brainstorm styling, location, and all the little details that will make your session uniquely you.

3. Bring it to life

Photo day is here- your focus is magic and connection. Arrive as you are: unhurried, present, and ready to lean into each other. We’ll meet at a Sydney spot that feels like you- golden headland, tucked-away laneway, or a slow wander by the sea- and I’ll offer gentle direction so it stays easy. The result: images that feel lived-in and true, the kind you’ll want to hold onto.

4. The keepers

After your session, your private online gallery lands in your inbox—an easy place to linger over the moments we made. Choose your favourites, or if every frame feels like you, keep the entire collection.

5. Bring it home

Bring your images home: select fine-art prints and frames for your space, and set aside a few as gifts for close family. I’ll take care of ordering and delivery.

What’s included

Session Fee

When you book a session with me, a $150 fee applies.

All sessions include:

  • Creative Consult FaceTime Call to dream and plan together

  • 60-90 minutes of shooting time to slow down and capture it all

  • Choice of Sydney-wide location that feels right for your story

  • Private online gallery for easy viewing, sharing, and printing

  • Access to Client Wardrobe and Styling Guidance so you feel effortlessly put together

  • Session planning & preparation so everything flows with ease

Session fees are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another date within 12 months if needed.

Please note: the fee covers your session booking only. Photo collections are purchased separately.

  • Reach out the moment it feels right. This isn’t about ticking boxes; it’s about honouring this season as it is.

    Maybe you’re cradling a growing belly, nestled in the soft newborn days, or chasing long-limbed kiddos- whatever it looks like, we’ll hold it all and tell the story that’s yours.

    If you’re eyeing a date (especially around your due month), get in touch early so we can lock it in.

  • The beauty of outdoor photography is that we can dance with the elements- but if it’s truly stormy or uncomfortable, we’ll reschedule to another day that works for you. I always hold a backup date just in case.

  • Outfits don’t need to be stressful. We’ll shop your wardrobe first- pulling the pieces you already love- then weave in options from my client wardrobe: timeless, earthy pieces for mamas and a small collection for little ones.

    I usually start with what you’re wearing and build the rest around it so everything flows naturally.

    You’ll also receive a simple prep guide so you feel confident and aligned with the location we’re shooting in.

  • Little ones aren’t built for stillness- and I wouldn’t want them to be. I welcome movement and mischief: the wriggles, cheeky grins, curious wanderings, and the way they fold back into your arms.

    We keep it unhurried and pressure-free; I follow their pace and offer soft guidance when it helps. Your only job is to love on them- I’ll hold the rest.

    The crazy, the noise, the tender mess of it all? That’s the magic we’re here to keep.

  • Your first look lands in your inbox within 3–4 weeks of our session. Choose your favourites and I’ll add the final, thoughtful retouching. Your finished gallery will be ready about two weeks after that.

  • You’re not alone, Mama- most people tell me the same. My sessions are calm and unhurried, with clear, gentle prompts so nothing feels stiff. We focus on how it feels (the way you hold each other), not “perfect” poses. My job is to make you feel safe, seen, and beautifully yourself- and you might just be surprised by how much you love your images.

  • I keep things simple and relaxed. I’ll give you clear, easy prompts- where to stand, what to do with your hands, when to move- so you’re never guessing, but I won’t stage anything that isn’t you.

    We’ll slow down, hold the kids, take breaks when we need to, and let the moments happen. No perfect posing- just real, comfortable, and honest.

  • Let’s choose a place that feels like your story. In Sydney, that could be salty dusk on the beach, a sun-lit headland, the calm of home, or a styled studio if you’re after something more intimate.

    I’ll share my shortlist of beautiful Sydney spots to pick from- and if there’s a place you already feel connected to, let’s make that our backdrop.
